Job Daddy helps you apply faster with tailored answers, resumes, and autofill. This page explains how your information is handled.

Effective date: August 21, 2026

The short version: Job Daddy uses your profile, resume, and the job page you’re on to draft answers and documents, then autofills what you approve. It does not submit applications for you, and it does not sell your data.

1. Overview

This policy explains how Job Daddy processes information when you use its Chrome extension and related service. “Job Daddy,” “we,” and “us” refer to the Job Daddy service. This policy applies to account, extension, document, and application-assistance data handled by the service. Use of Job Daddy is also subject to the Terms of Service.

2. Data we process

Account and profile information

We process account identity information made available through Google sign-in, such as your user ID, email address, and name. We also process profile details you choose to save, which may include contact information, work history, education, skills, links, work authorization, demographic responses, preferences, and other facts you provide.

Resume and document information

When you upload a resume or another supported document, we process the original file, filename, file type, extracted text, and related metadata. We may also store generated application artifacts, such as tailored resume or cover letter files.

Job page and application information

When you ask Job Daddy to assist on a job page, the extension processes relevant information from that page—the focused or last Assist tab—such as the page URL, page title, job description content, and application field labels and types. It does not inventory your other open tabs or collect general browsing history. It does not collect existing field values during its page scan. It also processes proposed, approved, skipped, filled, or failed answer states associated with that application.

Job Daddy is designed to exclude password, payment, and CAPTCHA fields from filling, and it never clicks Submit. It can click Next or Continue when you ask it to keep going.

Service and billing records

We process records needed to provide the service, such as application and generation identifiers, creation and update timestamps, processing status, technical errors, and subscription status. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Job Daddy may store a Stripe customer identifier and plan entitlement; card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by Job Daddy. The marketing site itself uses no tracking scripts, analytics, advertising pixels, or forms.

3. How we use data

We use the data described above to:

  • authenticate you with Google sign-in and keep your session working;
  • save and retrieve your profile and uploaded documents;
  • extract structured profile information from documents you select;
  • understand a job description and its application fields on the page you ask Job Daddy to help with;
  • generate truthful, tailored resume, cover letter, and application-answer proposals based on the information you provided;
  • show proposals for your review and fill only the fields you approve;
  • create and deliver requested document artifacts;
  • meter free assists and provide paid plans; and
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability.

Job Daddy does not automatically submit job applications. You remain responsible for reviewing accuracy, making edits, and deciding whether to submit.

4. Storage and AI processing

Google Cloud storage

Structured account, profile, document, application, and run records are stored in private Google Cloud Firestore. Uploaded originals and generated document files are stored in private Google Cloud Storage (GCS). Stored data is associated with your authenticated user account, and document responses use private, no-store cache controls.

Vertex AI

Job Daddy sends the information needed for a requested AI task—such as relevant profile facts, resume text, job content, and application questions—to Google Cloud Vertex AI. The service currently uses the Gemini 3.6 Flash model for profile extraction and generation of tailored materials or proposed answers. Google processes this information as our cloud service provider to return the requested output.

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review every proposal before approving or using it.

5. Sharing, sale, and advertising

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for targeted advertising, and the marketing site contains no trackers.

Data is processed by Google Cloud services—including Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Vertex AI—as needed to host and provide Job Daddy. Stripe processes payments for paid plans. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a service transfer, subject to applicable legal protections.

Job Daddy fills approved information into the job application page open in your browser. The employer or application platform receives that information only through your interaction with its page and your decision to submit the application.

6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Job Daddy uses Google sign-in (OpenID, email, and profile) so you can create and recover your account. That Google account information, and other user data processed by the extension, is used only to provide Job Daddy’s single purpose: helping you draft tailored application answers and documents, then autofill fields you approve, without submitting the application.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use Google user data or other Job Daddy user data to serve ads, sell it to data brokers, or determine credit-worthiness. We do not allow humans to read your application materials except with your consent for support, for security investigations, or where required by law.

7. Retention, access, and deletion

We retain saved profile, document, application, and generation data while your account is active so the service can provide the features you request. Job Daddy does not promise a fixed retention period for active-account data.

You can delete individual profile information and uploaded documents through supported product controls. You can also request or use account deletion, which deletes your account's profile, document, application, and generation records from Firestore and files stored under your account in GCS. Deletion may not immediately remove copies kept temporarily in provider backups or logs where retention is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

8. Security and your responsibilities

We use authenticated account access, user ownership checks, private cloud storage, and scoped data paths to protect stored information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account and device secure, review all generated content, and avoid providing information you do not want processed.

9. Children and policy updates

Job Daddy is intended for people seeking employment and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published. If data-handling practices change after you install the extension, we will disclose that on this page.
